Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa got married in July, 2013 in a tiny, low-key ceremony. They held the actual wedding party a month later. We never saw photos from the wedding, and I think some of us (myself included) forgot they were married. Because we’re so used to very public spectacles. Amber and Wiz were never going to get the cover of People or Martha Stewart’s Weddings, but they could have scored a lesser magazine cover. Maybe not?
They could have Instagrammed some wedding pictures at least. Amber and Wiz chose not to do so until now. On Monday, Wiz chose to celebrate his one-year anniverary to Amber by tweeting and Instagramming pics of their wedding celebration. The act is both sweet and romantic, and I’m surprised these two were able to resist publicizing their nuptials until now.
Amber and Wiz look so happy in these pictures, but this is seriously some bad fashion. Wiz’s fuchia jacket and bow tie look like they arrived straight from a 1980s John Hughes movie. You know Wiz was so baked at this event. He always is. Amber’s dress is a strapless, lace Pnina Tornai for Kleinfeld gown. The dress has so many tiers and ruffles and looks like a massive doily. At least (then) 5-month-old Sebastian looks adorable. He’s all, “Momma, I’ve gotta sneeze. Hold up your dress and wipe my nose.”
